Dress Code

Early October in Canmore is a transitional, "shoulder season" with chilly mornings, mild sunny days, and a high likelihood of rapidly shifting weather, including potential snow. We recommend packing layers, warm jackets, and shawls to stay comfortable and cozy.

Welcome Party Attire

Dress: Canadian Tuxedo or Something Blue

We’re keeping the night before the wedding fun and easy - lean into the spirit of Western Canadiana with your best denim‑on‑denim look, or wear a touch of blue to celebrate the start of the weekend.

Wedding Ceremony Attire

Dress: Creative Formal (Black Tie Optional)

We invite you to celebrate with us in bold color, expressive prints, and anything that reflects your unique style. Long gowns, colourful pantsuits, and vibrant suits are all encouraged. As we honour both of our heritages, we’d love for you to embrace creativity, personality, and joy in what you wear.
