For the weekend celebrations, we think our guests might enjoy staying at either Banff or Canmore. It depends on whether you’d like to be closer to the venue (Canmore) or to popular hikes & destinations like Lake Louise (Banff).

The town of Canmore is a lively, yet laid-back mountain town with walkable main streets and stunning landscapes. If you’d like to stay close to the venue during the weekend, we recommend staying around Downtown Canmore.

Getting there
Flying
We appreciate all of our friends & family joining from all over the the world. Please note that the closest airport is Calgary International Airport (YYC) - about an hour and a half to Canmore and Banff. Although there are Ubers/Lyft available in Calgary, the service is not available in Canmore and Banff. The towns provide free buses and have local taxis available.
Getting around
We recommend renting a car in Calgary or carpooling with others to make the most of your experience in Banff. If you prefer not to drive, private shuttles and the Roam public transit are easily available between Banff and Canmore. Public transportation is also available to popular destinations like Lake Louise and the Gondola where parking is limited. Learn more here.
